Update: I rescheduled this meeting to Thursday to accomodate more riders.

After two rides on the Bicentennial Trail it's time to try something new. Therefore, I recently checked out some of the trails around Grater Road near Amherst, NH, during a dog walk in rainy weather. The trails I saw were winding through the woods; easy to ride and good for cruising along. Bob & Geri told me there are plenty more trails, such as wide fire roads, narrow rocky fire roads, single track, beaver ponds and damms, hills. So this will be kind of a expedition ride. I'll bring my GPS to make sure we won't get lost.

Hey guys, from the radar it looks like we'll have a little bit less drizzling in the afternoon. I'll definitely go. Just bring a rain jacket and things that can get dirty :-) Rex, thanks for the link. Sounds pretty promising. Christoph

Who attended?

    •  A few minutes into the trail we got soaked by a couple of mud puddles (we actually passed, and crossed them a couple of times :-) For the most part we rode the Millepede trail, which is a pretty windy single track with plenty of ups, downs and rocky sections.
    •  The Grater Road Trails led to the millipede trail. As a newbie, the millipede was a challenging narrow hilly trail with lots of sharp turns and tight passthroughs. In all, it was a great ride that I'm looking forward to doing again.
