Hi and welcome to FWMTB! Whether you are a seasoned veteran of the trails, or just starting out, this group is for you! Member participation is encouraged, share your trail knowledge with us, volunteer to lead a ride! Meet other mountain bikers to talk trails, gear, riding tips and ride all types of trails while making new friends! All riding levels and styles are welcome on rides. No one gets left behind. Areas we'll explore:

Collis P. Huntington SP: Redding/Bethel/Newtown, CT
Mianus River Park: Stamford, CT
Pequonnock River Valley: Trumbull, CT
Stewart State Forest: Newburgh, NY
909: Pleasant Valley, NY
Blue Mountain, Sprain Ridge, Graham Hills: Westchester, NY
Various other riding areas in Fairfield, Westchester and beyond!

There will be weekly "after work" rides at Mianus River Park in Stamford (and potentially other sites) - these will continue until the snow falls as night rides with lights! We'll also try a downhill adventure or two!

** Please remember our rides are at your own risk (helmet required), we are not responsible or liable for any injury which may occur during the rides. In other words, just ride safe, within your own limits and have fun!

Hi All,

We're meeting up at Mianus River Park in Stamford at 6:00 pm. We'll be meeting at the Stamford entrance. I will be there around 6:00 (at the Red Barn), ready to launch by 6:15 sharp this time (you know who you are)!

This is typically an intermediate ride with occasional stops for rest or crashes should you be so inclined! As with all our rides, no one gets left behind. Read more
