3 valleys peak district ride. This involves a couple of classic Peak District descents and also some lesser known ones. It's pretty much 4 climbs and 4 descents. Hope village up and over by a lesser known trail to Snake. From Snake up via Rowlee and down the classic Ladybower descent. Return via a tough uphill and then up onto Crook Hill (for one of best 360 degree views of Peak District in area), down to Snake and back via Roman Road to Fullwood Holmes.
Descents: nothing too technical
Ascents: 3 out of 4 are 100% rideable (depending on your fitness!)

(If weather's bad, meetup will be same time and place, but we'll do Castleton anticlockwise loop)

About 3 hours

A good ride with some great descents. Could have done without the last climb though! I've posted the route here: http://www.gpsies.com/map.d...

Fluff + guest Jon, Prince Farquaad, AndyB, Anita. ~26km, 3 hrs. Didn't do planned route due to threat of thunderstorms/more wet weather - Ended up with Castleton anticlockwise route which we got round without really getting rained on. Anita had too many weetabix, SteveG had too many flats, AndyB wanted to know where Anita got her weetabix from, Jon preferred Jelly Babies to Weetabix. All of which means - gonna need to find another sunnier day to do 3 valleys ride!

Yeah I was just looking - Sounds good. All 4 of the climbs are all weather. 2 of the 4 descents are good in wet or dry. 1st one will be a bit boggy at top. 3rd one will be pretty slow (it's a lot better in dry - it was fast last week!). Breeze will hopefully dry stuff out a bit aswell
