Announcing a new meeting for Manchester Mountain Bikers!
What: Riding weekend - Betws-y-coed (Friday, Saturday Sunday, Monday)
When: Friday, May 2, 11:00 AM
Where: (A location for this meeting hasn't been chosen yet)
Meeting Description: This is a riding weekend for all our members (and friends). We will be away for 4 days but you can turn up for a single day, stay over one night all stay for the full long weekend! We will be riding:
Penmachno loop 1 on the Friday (drinks in the evening)
the Marin 24km on the Saturday day with the Penmachno loop 1 in the evening as a night ride
Penmachno loop 2 on the Sunday
On the Monday will be some scrambling/hiking/ so bring your boots.
There is a great little family run site about 2.5 miles from Betws-y-coed town centre for camping and they have a few static caravans. What my plan is is to bring my wife and kids. It would be great if others could do the same so the families could go out together while we ride. The kids would play together and they could enjoy themselves instead of always being left at home!
There are many family walks in the area and lots for them to do. The link to the camp site is HERE
