Announcing a new meeting for Manchester Mountain Bikers!
What: Ride around Peaks. Leader Mr Fluff
When: Thursday, May 15, 6:15 PM

Who should come: Those who meet the ride rating. Skill level ***1/2 Fitness level ***1/2
Meeting Description: We will be meeting at the bottom of Winnat's Pass at 6:15 and R2R at 6.30pm prompt! This is a good meeting point as there is free parking. http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=414360&y=382870&z=3&sv=414360,382870&st=4&ar=Y&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf
We will ride the Castleton clockwise loop: Broken road - Rushup Edge - Chapel Gate - Mam Tor - Hollins Cross - Hollingford Road - back to Winnats via Castleton.
Mr Fluff has volenteered to lead this ride and he has said
"This is the best 2 hour route I know of in terms of value for money. On a good day - the views will be great aswell! There is an option to add in an additional descent+climb halfway round. Skill level 3/5 (Chapel Gate proper is very technical descent more like 4+/5 but easier options exist at the side). Fitness level 3/5 - 2 pretty long sustained climbs - all rideable - but overall it's only a short route."
