This a great opportunity to ride some of the best trails in Western NC. Pisgah, Dupont, and Tsali offer some great mtn. biking trails for all levels of riders. Though Pisgah and Dupont are probably geared more for intermediate and advanced riders, Tsali is a great place for a beginner to work on some of their skills.
This meetup will include some fellow riders from our Florida Meetup Group. I will be camping at the Lake Powhatan Campground which is near Bent Creek. I will arrive there on Friday morning. We plan to ride Bent Creek area on Friday. Dupont (Davidson River area) on Saturday. Tsali on Sunday (since there is race at Tsali on Saturday). And possibly again at Bent Creek on Monday morning.
There are plenty of hotels around the Asheville area if you prefer not to camp or if you have problems finding vacancy at the campgrounds.
