A few of us will be camping at Badin Lake Campgrounds. From the campground, to Uwharrie, it's about a 25 minute ride. We plan to meet at the trail head at Uwharrie around 10am. Pack a cooler, drinks and lunch...you'll be hungry after the ride! We plan to start with the KEYAUEE LOOP which is about 8 miles, then take in another loop right from the keyauee, called the SUPERTREE. This is about another 4 miles.
There are also trails at the Badin Lake Campgrounds, which we are going to venture out into on Friday. We've never rode those trails before, so can't say anything about them.
