Meet professional skills coach and pro racer Gene Hamilton and other local mountain bikers to discuss and learn mountain biking skills. Riding a bike is easy. Riding over off-camber roots and rocks and cornering with confidence is more difficult. Whether you have been riding for twenty years, race professionally or just started riding there is a lot to learn as the correct techniques are not intuitive. You could ride for 50 years and not stumble upon them. Learn the correct way to rid …

Mountain biking is best when with friends who ride at a similar pace, yes? You've seen the hot shots who zip up hills and flash descents. You’ve seen the opposite, newbies struggling both uphill and down. Then there are the fit-but-inexperienced mountain bikers, rode mostly asphalt before, strong on ascents but not fond of switchbacks and rocks. Then there is us! We enjoy riding technical features on trails, fun rocks and other tricky stuff … we just need a little more time getting up the hill. …
Meetup for people who want to mountain bike early in the morning before work. Most rides are mountain biking, but we are open to road ride suggestions as well. Rides are multi-level and we will regroup at different points along the ride if necessary. We ride a few times a week, sometimes for 1.5 hours and other times longer.
This meetup is about getting people together and heading out to fun riding destinations and doing multi-day supported bike trips. All trips will be supported, with transportation, a kitchen, coolers, and more. The bus has sofas and a TV, so you can chill, sleep, play games, or whatever you want to do on your way out to Moab, Fruita, Salida, and more! Join us to do some serious rides and some fun rides, and to turn the hassle of driving into a trip that's as fun as the riding once we get there.

We are a primarily lesbian group but are open to all GLBTQA riders of all abilities and fitness levels. At this point all rides will be easy/intermediate and will have a no drop policy. If you are interested in leading/planning more difficult road rides or mountain biking let me know! The more the merrier!!

For 2010 there will be a $1 per ride fee to help fund the subscription fees required to run the site.
