This meetup group was formed under the administration of Water Hikers, based out of Nixa, MO.  Water Hikers has since dissolved.  Owners of Water Hikers, Herman Owens and Denise Pepmiller, were kind enough to shift this meetup group to local non-profit paddling organization, Ozark Mountain Paddlers.  Although they are truly grateful for the opportunity to meet new paddlers in the local community, they are a membership-based, all volunteer club with existing forms systems in place.  We recommend …
